Health experts are worried that the ban on public schools and universities from enforcing mask restrictions or COVID-19 testing for unvaccinated kids is compromising public health.

As of April 10th, 156,182, or 59% of Arizona residents 18 or older, from counties like Navajo, Apache, Gila, Santa Cruz, Graham, La Paz, and Greenlee have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

With 139,525 new cases among people under 19, Arizona is one of the 16 states currently reporting more than 100,000 COVID-19 cases among children and one of the ten states with more than 7,000 cases per 100,000 kids.
